For Individuals
THE CHARITABLE FUND — OUR DONOR-ADVISED FUND
The Charitable Fund is a donor-advised fund through Knights of Columbus Charitable Fund that allows you to make charitable contributions, potentially receive a tax benefit, and then recommend grants to charities aligned with your faith. By opening a Charitable Fund, you’ll take the first important step towards maximizing your generosity.
THE RESTRICTED FUND
Establishing a Restricted Fund provides a wonderful way to give back to one or more specific organizations or fields of interest that have touched your life. A Restricted Fund with Knights of Columbus Charitable Fund can be used by individuals to designate IRA rollover gifts to a specific charity or field of interest.
For Charitable Organizations
SINGLE ORGANIZATION FUND
Whether you’re a large non-profit, a small charity, or a local parish, Knights of Columbus Charitable Fund will work with you to handle the administrative burden of fundraising so you can do more of the work you’re called to do.
FISCAL SPONSORSHIP
Fiscal Sponsorships are a collaborative relationship in which a charitable project partners with a public charity, like Knights of Columbus Charitable Fund, to receive tax-deductible donations and access to a network of support. Knights of Columbus Charitable Fund will also work with established non-profits and international charitable projects.
For Councils
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL ACCOUNTS
A Council Account provides a valuable service to councils with significant cash accounts or other liquid assets. Plus, individuals may contribute directly to a Council Account and may be eligible to claim a charitable deduction on their personal tax returns.
RECEIVE MORE THAN JUST CASH
Expand the ways your Council facilitates charity. Nearly 90% of wealth is held in non-cash or illiquid assets. A Council Account make it possible for your supporters to make transformational gifts to further your Council’s charitable works. Whether through simpler gifts like securities or more complex gifts of illiquid assets, our team can guide you and your donors through the process of receiving, managing and liquidating non-cash gifts.
